Your commitment is just as important as the work we do together. Owners who consistently follow their training plan and put the work in between sessions are likely to progress much faster.

We'll discuss your dog's individual needs and give you a clearer idea of the expected training process during your initial assessment.

Fundamentally effective dog training is about making the dog learn that good choices makes good things happen and making bad choices makes bad things happen so we utilise tools and techniques to achieve both of those outcomes.

The tools and techniques we use will vary from dog to dog but suffice to say we will help teach you how to reward your dog’s good behaviours and correct bad ones.

We do not as all our training is delivered through private programmes, allowing us to tailor the process to each dog and household.

Yes. Behavioural rehabilitation is a major part of what we do.

We work with dogs displaying behaviours including reactivity, aggression, fear, resource guarding and other serious behavioural challenges.

Every case is assessed individually. Our first priority is understanding why the behaviour is occurring before developing a structured training plan for both the dog and owner.

For particularly serious cases, we'll assess whether R&M Elite Dog Training is the appropriate service for you and your dog. If we don't believe we can safely or appropriately help, we'll be upfront about that.

A majority of the real world success we see in our clients comes from their commitment and consistency to holding not just their dog accountable but themselves too.

Our programme is designed to give owners the best possible tools and techniques to achieve the real world success they are looking for, but at the end of the day it is them that must put in the work to achieve those results.

The sessions you will have with us through our programme will occur in a mixture between your home and local environment.

This is to ensure that the owner has plenty of opportunities to work trough their dog’s problematic behaviours and test their dog’s obedience within the context of real world distractions they see everyday.

The first step is to book a 90-minute Behavioural & Training Assessment in your own home.

We'll discuss the challenges you're experiencing, assess your dog's behaviour and existing training, identify your goals and provide initial practical guidance.

There is no upfront fee and no obligation to continue.

Following the assessment, if we mutually agree that R&M Elite Dog Training is the right fit for you and your dog, we'll discuss your personalised Complete Training Programme.

If you decide not to continue — or we determine that our programme isn't the right fit — you won't be charged for the assessment.

If you do begin the programme, £90 of your programme fee will be allocated to cover the assessment.
